Product Overview

Navigator Applications Suite* is a digital clinical decision support tool that puts relevant, reliable, and predictive information at your fingertips. The complete applications software suite comprises: Navigator Therapy, Navigator Protocol and Navigator Device.

The Navigator Applications Suite analyzes drug therapy information to help model and predict the effect of supported anesthesia related drugs and drug synergies. Navigator helps provide valuable information to support you in optimizing patient management based on your clinical judgement. Navigator supports clinicians with valuable, relevant, modeled information that can be used together with the monitored parameters and current patient status to support evaluations.

The Navigator Applications Suite brings together the care protocols of your hospital and diagnostic information from the anesthesia delivery device, and provides access to the hospital information – all in one place for easy, immediate access and reference.

Benefits

Navigator Applications Suite is a software-driven solution designed to analyze drug therapy information in order to help model and predict the effect of supported anesthetic agents, drugs and synergies.

The complete applications software suite includes: Navigator Therapy, Navigator Protocol and Navigator Device.

Balanced Anesthesia Management Support with Navigator Therapy

  • Navigator Therapy collects data from IV pumps, patient monitors, and the anesthesia delivery system. It applies predictive pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling to the data collected – helping you visualize the modeled effects of anesthesia drugs and their interactions.
  • Navigator helps provide valuable information to support you in optimizing patient management based on your clinical judgement.
  • The drug concentration and effects shown are based on published models and do not represent actual measurements from the patient.

Incorporate Your Hospital Protocols into Navigator

  • With Navigator Protocol, you can upload your hospital’s own care protocols – all easily searchable and accessible for guidance when you need them.
  • It provides you with the reassurance that your care decisions are guided by the experience and best practices in your hospital’s clinical protocols.

Online Troubleshooting with Navigator Device

  • Anesthesia delivery devices have evolved into highly complex systems. If a technical problem occurs, time and the right action are of the essence.
  • Navigator Device helps you identify and troubleshoot anesthesia machine problems and displays clear diagnostic information and the steps you should take for corrective action.
  • Navigator Device provides online device troubleshooting of GE Aisys*, Avance*, and ADU* anesthesia delivery Carestations.
  • Provides illustrated instructions to respond appropriately to anesthesia machine alarms.

Technology

The complete Navigator Applications Suite includes:

Navigator Therapy

  • Displays modeled pharmacokinetic effects for select sedation, analgesia, and relaxation drugs
  • Visualizes modeled pharmacodynamic effects and synergies of sedation (such as propofol) and analgesia (remifentanil, alfentanil, fentanyl, sufentanil) drugs
  • Projects future modeled effect site concentrations based on the pharmacokinetic models
  • Connects to a selection of infusion pumps to help minimize drug entry efforts
  • Displays trend information on administered drugs
  • Collects data from IV pumps, patient monitors, and the anesthesia delivery system; and applies predictive pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling to the data collected, helping you visualize the modeled effects of anesthesia drugs and their interactions
  •  The drug concentration and effects shown are based on published models and do not represent actual measurements from the patient.

Navigator Device

  • Visual step-by-step troubleshooting instructions for the supported anesthesia carestations available at the point of care
  • Get the big picture with one-click access to GE anesthesia device technical alarms and their history

Navigator Protocol

  • Quick access to your hospital’s standard, specific care protocols may help standardize procedures.
  • Supported trended parameters can be configured the way you want them displayed, helping you link protocols to treatment plans.
  • You can easily organize your protocols according to specific needs, such as organ-specific or task-specific groups.
